Maria Pia Bernardoni è curatrice e organizzatrice di eventi e mostre fotografiche.
Nel 2011 ha lavorato per il Festival di Fotografia Internazionale di Lucca, curando il progetto e la mostra “Fotografi per un giorno”.
Ha poi partecipato all’organizzazione della mostra World Press Photo e al premio European Photo Exibithion nel 2012.
Inoltre ha organizzato le conferenze per Photolux Festival in Italia.
Scrive per la sezione fotografia della rivista online Vogue Italia ed è editrice nella sezione fotografia di Art Base Africa
(www.artbaseafrica.org), piattaforma online per l'arte africana contemporanea.
Dal gennaio 2015 lavora come curatrice per il progetto internazionale della fondazione African Artist’s Foundation e LagosPhoto Festival, in Nigeria.
Maria Pia Bernardoni is a curator and organizer of photography related events and exhibitions.
She has worked in the organization of the International Festival of Photography based in Lucca (Italy), curating the “Fotografi per un Giorno” project and exhibition in 2011 and assisting in the organization of the World Press Photo exhibition and European Photo Exhibition Award in 2012.
She has organized the talks for the Photolux Festival in Italy.
She writes as a contributor for the photography section of Vogue Italia web magazine and is the editor of the photography section of Art Base Africa (www.artbaseafrica.org), the online platform for contemporary African art.
Since January 2015 she works as a curator of the international projects for the African Artist’s Foundation and LagosPhoto Festival, in Nigeria.
