Another America è un riflesso di questo mondo incerto. Ci mostra qualcosa che è familiare, ma allo stesso tempo non lo è.

Ambientato alla fine degli anni ’40, durante l’età d’oro del fotogiornalismo, quando una fotografia corrispondeva alla verità, fa uso dell’Intelligenza Artificiale per destabilizzare ancor di più il senso della veridicità dell’immagine fotografica.

Phillip Toledano (Londra, Regno Unito, 1968) è nato da madre franco-marocchina e padre americano. È cresciuto tra Londra e Casablanca. Si è laureato in letteratura inglese alla Tufts University di Boston, ed è un artista conosciuto per la sua creatività spesso provocatoria legati a temi attuali.

“Another America” is a reflection of this uncertain world. It shows us the familiar, but not.

Set in the late 1940s, during the golden age of photojournalism, when a photograph was the truth, it uses AI to address to destabilize our sense of veracity of the photographic image.

Phillip Toledano (London, UK, 1968) was to a French Moroccan mother and an American father. He grew up in London and Casablanca. With a BA in English literature from Tufts University in Boston, he is an artist known for for his creativity rich of challenging visions on current themes.
