Emanuela Mirabelli, photo editor of Marie Claire.
Born in Milan, after completing her high school diploma she took a university degree in art history and wrote film reviews. At the same time she also developed a keen interest in photography and in 1997 she turned professional.
She worked first in the editorial departments of magazines like Photo and View On Photography and then as manager of the Carla Scozzani Gallery. In 2003 she became photo editor of Marie Claire, a magazine that covers fine art photography as well as photojournalism. She has been a jury member for numerous photographic awards, including the Getty Grant for Editorial Photography.

Nata a Milano, dopo studi classici frequenta storia dell'arte all'università e scrive recensioni di film. In parallelo sviluppa un forte interesse per la fotografia, che dal 1997 si trasforma in una professione.
Lavora infatti nella redazione di riviste come Photo e View on Photography e diventa responsabile della Galleria Carla Sozzani.
Dal 2003 è photo editor di Marie Claire, rivista che pubblica lavori che spaziano dalla fotografia fine art al fotogiornalismo.
Ha preso parte alla giuria di numerosi premi fotografici, tra cui il Getty Grant for Editorial Photography.
