Le Portfolio Reviews di PhEST sono un’opportunità preziosa per fotografi e fotografe emergenti e mid-career per presentare il proprio lavoro a un gruppo selezionato di professionisti della fotografia, dell’arte e dell’editoria. Le letture si svolgeranno l’8 e il 9 agosto 2026, durante il weekend inaugurale del festival, presso il Monastero di San Leonardo a Monopoli. Durante le sessioni, i lettori saranno a disposizione per visionare e commentare progetti già completati o ancora in corso. Vuoi partecipare? Ecco come fare!

Chi può partecipare?
Le letture di PhEST sono aperte a tutti i fotografi, emergenti e professionisti.
A quante letture posso iscrivermi?
È possibile iscriversi a un massimo di 3 letture portfolio, scegliendo liberamente se concentrarle in un solo giorno o suddividerle tra sabato 8 e domenica 9 agosto, a propria scelta e fino a esaurimento disponibilità. Non sarà in ogni caso possibile registrarsi a più di una lettura con lo stesso lettore.
Quanto dura una lettura portfolio?
Ogni singola lettura dura 20 minuti. Si consiglia pertanto di arrivare al Monastero di San Leonardo con 10 minuti di anticipo rispetto all’inizio delle sessioni prenotate e di rispettare il tempo allocato.
Cosa devo portare per la lettura portfolio?
Meglio portare progetti già stampati, ma chi volesse potrà mostrarli anche con un proprio supporto digitale (pc portatile o tablet).
Cosa succede se non mi è più possibile partecipare ad una lettura prenotata tramite modalità online o se sono in ritardo?
In caso di impossibilità a partecipare, nel rispetto del tempo dei lettori e degli altri partecipanti, a chi ha effettuato la registrazione online è richiesto di inviare una comunicazione scritta a info@phest.it entro e non oltre il 2 agosto così da dare possibilità a chi è in lista d’attesa.
In caso di ritardo di più di 5 minuti dall’inizio dello slot prenotato, l’organizzatore avrà la possibilità di sostituire il partecipante.
PhEST 2026 PORTFOLIO REVIEWS
PhEST’s Portfolio Reviews are a valuable opportunity for emerging and mid-career photographers to present their work to a selected group of professionals from the fields of photography, art, and publishing. The reviews will take place on August 8–9, 2026, during the opening weekend of the festival, at the Saint Leonardo Monastery in Monopoli. Each reviewer will be available to look at and comment on completed projects or works in progress. Want to join? Read the instructions to register below.

- Online (preferred mode) - until August 2nd
- On site (with a limited availability) - 10 minutes before the start of the reviews.
You can book for up to 3 reviews in total. PhEST Portfolio Reviews are free of charge.

Who can participate?
PhEST reviews are open to all photographers, emerging and professionals.
How many reviews can I sign up for?
You can register for up to 3 portfolio reviews, choosing whether to attend them all on the same day or split them between Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9, subject to availability. In any case, it will not be possible to register for more than one review with the same reviewer.
How long does a portfolio review last?
Each individual review lasts 20 minutes. We therefore recommend arriving at the venue 10 minutes before the start of the booked slot and respect the allocated time.
What should I bring for the portfolio review?
It is best to bring printed projects, but those who wish can also show them via their own digital media (laptop or tablet).
What happens if I can no longer participate in a review booked online or if I am late?
In case of inability to participate, as a sign of respect of the readers' and other participants' time, those who have registered online are requested to send a written communication to info@phest.it by August 2nd at the latest.
In case of a delay of more than 5 minutes before the start of the reserved slot, the organizer will have the possibility to replace the participant.
