ArkOne
ArkOne è un archivio narrativo che intreccia cinquant’anni di ricerca, miti e cospirazioni attorno alla Stele dell’Ararat, un reperto finalmente decodificato nel 2022 dopo decenni di occultamento. Attraverso le tracce di SaMu e le testimonianze degli esclusi, il progetto ricostruisce una storia alternativa in cui la Stele rivela un reale avvertimento geologico destinato a culminare il 23 maggio 2030. Lettere, resti ossei e documenti diventano non semplici reperti, ma simboli di tutte quelle vite e specie escluse dai processi di selezione e sopravvivenza, trasformando l’archivio in una riflessione sull’estetica e sulla politica dell’esclusione.
Nel secondo capitolo, ArkOne Inc. trasforma questo presagio in un modello di business distopico: di fronte al collasso ambientale, la sopravvivenza viene venduta attraverso un “Contratto di Cessione del Tempo”, che richiede di sacrificare memoria o anni di vita per ottenere un posto sull’Arca. In una società in cui identità, corpi e ricordi diventano dati processati da algoritmi, il progetto denuncia la mercificazione dell’esistenza, il potere delle corporation e la normalizzazione dell’esclusione. ArkOne non inventa il disastro, ma ne monetizza le conseguenze, lasciando aperta una domanda: quanto della propria vita si è disposti a perdere per garantirsi un futuro?
Nata a Milano, Sara ha trasformato la fotografia da passione a ricerca artistica, sviluppando progetti che raccontano emozioni e storie attraverso linguaggi visivi diversi. I suoi lavori sono stati esposti in gallerie, festival e musei d’arte contemporanea in Italia e in Europa, ricevendo numerosi riconoscimenti nazionali e internazionali.
Fotografa, autrice e docente di Storia della Fotografia e Comunicazione Visiva presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti Santa Giulia di Brescia, ha pubblicato sette libri di teoria e cinque libri fotografici. Nel 2019 ha fondato Musa Fotografia a Lecco, uno spazio dedicato a corsi, workshop, mostre e letture portfolio, affiancando all’attività didattica quella di scrittrice, relatrice e divulgatrice.
“ArkOne” is a narrative archive that weaves together fifty years of research, myths, and conspiracies surrounding the Ararat Stele, an artifact finally decoded in 2022 after decades of concealment. Through the traces left by SaMu and the testimonies of those who were excluded, the project reconstructs an alternative history in which the Stele reveals a genuine geological warning destined to culminate on May 23, 2030. Letters, skeletal remains, and documents become more than simple artifacts: they stand as symbols of all the lives and species excluded from processes of selection and survival, transforming the archive into a reflection on the aesthetics and politics of exclusion.
In its second chapter, ArkOne Inc. turns this prophecy into a dystopian business model. Faced with environmental collapse, survival is sold through a “Time Transfer Contract,” requiring individuals to sacrifice memories or years of their lives in exchange for a place aboard the Ark. In a society where identities, bodies, and memories become data processed by algorithms, the project exposes the commodification of existence, the power of corporations, and the normalization of exclusion. “ArkOne” does not invent the disaster—it monetizes its consequences, leaving an unsettling question unanswered: how much of one’s life is one willing to surrender in order to secure a future?
Born in Milan, Sara transformed photography from a passion into an artistic pursuit, developing projects that convey emotions and tell stories through a variety of visual languages. Her work has been exhibited in galleries, festivals, and contemporary art museums across Italy and Europe, earning numerous national and international awards.
A photographer, author, and lecturer in the History of Photography and Visual Communication at the Accademia di Belle Arti Santa Giulia in Brescia, she has published seven books on photographic theory and five photography books. In 2019, she founded Musa Fotografia in Lecco, a space dedicated to courses, workshops, exhibitions, and portfolio reviews. Alongside her teaching activities, she also works as a writer, speaker, and educator, promoting photographic culture and visual literacy.
