Per il progetto commissionato da Tormaresca in collaborazione con PhEST, Piero Percoco ha trasformato le etichette del rosé Calafuria in ritratti fotografici con dentro attimi di Puglia, di caldo, di mare e d’estate. L’artista Percoco gioca con l’alto e il basso, ironizzando sul mondo patinato del rosé e dell’immagine glamour conquistata dalla Puglia negli ultimi anni immergendo la bottiglia dentro scene di vita quotidiana e personaggi iperrealistici. E così ogni bottiglia dell’edizione speciale diventa un perfetto mix tra la raffinatezza di questo rosato e l’autenticità di una regione che, nonostante il boom incredibile degli ultimi anni, ha conservato intatta la sua anima.

Pietro Percoco (Italia, 1987) è cresciuto in Italia a Sannicandro di Bari. Oltre ad aver esposto in mostre in Italia e Europa, ha pubblicato due libri, Prism Interiors e The Rainbow is Underestimated, editi dalla case editrice Skinnerboox.

For the project commissioned by Tormaresca in collaboration with PhEST, Piero Percoco transformed the brand labels of the rosé Calafuria into photo portraits with bits of Puglia inside, the heat, the sea and the summer. The artist Percoco plays with perspectives, lampooning the elegant world of the rosé and the glamorous image that Puglia has conquered in the last few years, inserting the bottle in daily life scenes with hyper realistic images. And so, each special edition bottle becomes a perfect mix between the refined nature of this rosé and the authenticity of a region that, notwithstanding the incredible touristic boom of recent years, has maintained its soul intact.
