Approdi è una ricerca visiva a più mani che ha come focus il Porto di Bari. Una zona peculiare che occupa circa 4 km di costa dal vecchio molo San Nicola, all’ingresso del centro storico, al porto nuovo. Un’infrastruttura marittima d'eccellenza che ha da sempre fatto della città un ponte fondamentale verso oriente.

Ciascuno dei giovani autori sia in maniera collettiva che personale, ha raccontato una sfaccettatura di un luogo fatto di grandi spazi, angoli più remoti, come nel caso del vecchio acquario, e poi i pescatori della darsena, i turisti, i pendolari da est ad ovest per restituirne un affresco contemporaneo e sfaccettato di un luogo cardine per la città.

Approdi è stato realizzato da un gruppo di studenti del secondo anno coordinati dalla docente e fotografa Maria Pansini e dal fotografo dell’Agenzia VII Stefano De Luigi.

“Approdi” aims at exploring the vibrant life of the Port of Bari, which, like any  port, has always been a symbol of gathering, hospitality and cultural exchange.

A collective visual research focusing on a peculiar area, which expands over 4 kms along the coast from the San Nicola pier to the new port, through the entrance to the historic centre. A maritime infrastructure of excellence, which has always represented a bridge to the East.

Each author, either collectively or individually, has told an aspect of this environment: vast areas, or abandoned ones, like the old aquarium, the fishmongers in the dock, the tourists, the commuters going from west to east, so as to picture a contemporary and multifaceted portrait of a key point of the city.

“Approdi” was realized by a group of students of the school coordinated by their teacher and photographer Maria Pansini and by the photographer of VII Photo Agency  Stefano De Luigi.
