FLESH LOVE ALL/RETURNS
“Ciò che voglio esprimere attraverso il mio lavoro è amore. Perché tutto il mondo si fonda sull'amore. Sulla base di questa idea, ho avviato un progetto per confezionare sottovuoto diverse coppie, gli ambienti e i paesaggi intorno a loro. Non solo le coppie che si amano, ma anche tutto ciò che le circonda è confezionato sottovuoto. Tutte le cose che si amano diventeranno una sola, e il mondo sarà uno. Penso che questa sia una forma ideale di amore”.
La mostra di Photographer Hal a PhEST è composta da due progetti: Flesh Love All (nella Chiesa di San Salvatore) e Flesh Love Returns (sul lungomare S. Maria)
Haruhiko Kawaguchi, in arte Photographer Hal, è nato a Tokyo, dove ha studiato e attualmente risiede. Dopo la laurea entra in una società di produzione pubblicitaria a Tokyo e questo gli permette di affinare le sue abilità fotografiche. Ma ben presto il cuore del suo lavoro sono diventate le persone.
“I want to express love through my work. Because everything in the world is based on love. Based on such an idea, I started a project to vacuum pack a couple and also the context or landscape around them. Not only a couple who loves each other but also everything around them is vacuum-packed. The things we love will be one, and the world will be one. I think that is an ideal form of love.”
Photographer Hal’s exhibit at PhEST is made up of two projects: “Flesh Love All” (in San Salvatore Church) and “Flesh Love Returns” (along the Santa Maria promenade)
Haruhiko Kawaguchi, aka Photographer Hal, was born in Tokyo, where he studied and currently lives. After graduating from university he joined an advertising production company in Tokyo and this enabled him to acquire a much wider set of photographic skills. Soon the focus of his work became the people.
